ZUMAIA FLYSCH TRAIL LASTERKETA ARAUDIA 2020

1.- DATE AND PLACE

The “XII Zumaia Flysch Tral lasterketa” will be played on May 3, 2020.

The exit and finish will be in the square Eusebio Gurrutxaga.

2.- REGISTRATION.

Registration will open on March 23 and close on April 15, provided that the maximum number of participants is not reached earlier.

Registration will be made on the website kronoak.com.

  • Flysch Trail Mendi Lasterketa. Marathon. (42,8km)

    • Price: 50€

    • Approximate maximum number: 200 people.

  • Flysch Trail Mendi Lasterketa. Maratoi erdia (22,2km)

    • Price: 35€

    • Approximate maximum number: 400 people.

  • Flysch Trail Mendi Lasterketa. Lasterketa motza (14,05km)

    • Price: 35€

    • Approximate maximum number: 100 people.

Being the marathon and the short test race of the WMRA, runners who are not federated in the athletics federation will be made the day card of this federation.

After payment, the organization will register the runner in the race. Those who do not meet these requirements will no enter the list of registrations for the Flysch trail mountain race.

3.-COLLECTION OF DORSALS

Lubaki sports center. . Basadi auzategia 16.

Schedule:

  • Saturday, May 2, 16:00-20:00. At the Lubaki sports center.

  • Sunday, May 3, 06:30-08:00. In the departure area.

To receive the bib number, the presence of the participant is mandatory and cannot be collected by anyone else. Written authorizations or delegations shall not be accepted.

To recebie the bib number, the ID or equivalent must be presented.

5.- CONTROL AND INSPECTION OF BIB AND MATERIAL.

It will open the departure area 10’ before the race. Here the organizer will be able to carry out an inspection of the material: footwear, bib, clothing,..

The organization will be competent to sanction the broker who does not respect the schedule.

6.- SERVICES

The storage and shower services will be carried out at the Lubaki Sports Center (Basadi auzategia 16).

There will also be a luggage storage service in the departure area. In addition, in this area will be located the main food and drink supply point, soft shower, toilets,…

7.- BRIEFING – BILERA INFORMATZAILEA.

8.- ROUTE

The race will take place in large part by “The UNESCO World Geopark of the Basque Coast”. In the long race you will leave the Geopark and head to Mount Andutz, to reach the finish line form the Geopark.

8.- CLASSIFICATION AND AWARDS

All classification and awards will be held for women and men.

Once the classification is published, you will have 30 minutes to make any claim. After time, the rankings will become official.

The races will be timed in accordance with WMRA regulations.

8.3.-PODIUM TIMES

  • Flysch Trail Mendi Lasterketa. Short race: 12:00-12:30

9.- SECURITY.

The organization will have Civil Liability and accident insurance. We will count on the collaboration of the Red Cross.

The organization recommends that all participants have a medical examination before the test. Everyone must take the risk posed by sports activity.

10.- SEIGNALING.

The route and the kilometres shall be properly signposted with indicator signs.

11.- SUPPLIES.

For any small accident, in each supply there will be a basic kit.

12.- CONTROLS ON THE MARATHON.

The organization will enable control zones throughout the race, being essential to pass for it, since in these zones the regulatory controls of passage will be carried out.

13.- MANDATORY WITHDRAWAL POINTS IN THE MARATHON.

Mandatory withdrawal points will be established based on travel times. Those who don’t meet those times will be out of the race.

If the broker does not accept your withdrawal, the organization will not assume any responsibility. The organization’s car will take the retirees to the starting line.

  • In Esteixa (20,1 km), Timeframe: 3h 45’

  • In Teleixan (24,9 km), Timeframe: 4h 30’

  • In Errotaberri (31km), Timeframe: 5h40’

  • In Elorriaga (34,5km), Timeframe: 6h30’

At 15:00 the marathon finish line will be closed and the race will be completed.

14.- ENVIROMENT.

The race takes place through the “Unesco World Geopark on the Basque Coast”.

At each feeding and control point there will be garbage containers at a distance of 25m and 50m. All participants must use these areas to throw rubbish. In all other spaces this possibility will not exist.

During the race there will be environmental judges and 40 volunteers controlling and advising.

Runners who fail the comply with this rule will be excluded from the race.

ZAINDU INGURUMENA / PROTECT THE ENVIROMENT

15.- SAFETY IN THE RACE.

The organization shall have every right, upon agreement with the Career Commission, to divert the test by an alternative route, make any modifications it deems necessary and, if weather conditions require it, suspend the race.

16.- HELP IN ACCIDENTS.

It will be the participants request to accompany any accidents and report any accidents at the checkpoints.

17.- RESPONSABILITY

The organization will take care of any accident that occurs within the route, but not of the runners in case of negligence.

Not will it have responsibility for the personal objects of the participants, for that purpose there will be a storage service in the Lubaki Sports center.

Participants will be responsible for any damage caused to themselves or third parties.

18.- APPROVAL OF THE REGULATION

All participants, with their participation, approve this regulation. What is not listed in it is regulated by WMRA regulation.

After payment, the organization will register the runner in the race. Those who do not meet these requirements will not enter the North Flysch registration list.

5.- CONTROL OF DORSALES AND MATERIAL

7.- BREAFING – INFORMATIVE MEETING.

8.-TRAVEL.

The race will take place on the urban roads of the Zumaia area. The whole field will be asphalt or hard ground. However, in one part, about 150m, it will be a mountain path.

The race will be held on a circuit of 6km. Depending on the test you will have to take one, two or three laps.

9.- TECHNICAL.

In the Nordic gait, the movements of the arms, feet, pelvic area and the whole body are similar to those used in an intense gait.

Arm work. In the Nordic march, the arms and feet sway alternately, rhythmically forward and backward, as in the normal walk, but clearly with greater intensity. With each cane this action will necessarily be performed:

1.- Rest the poles clearly on the ground so that the walker in front of the body line has the cane held with his hand..

2.- Traction.

3.- Push for the walker´s elbow and hand to pass the pelvis/body line behind the back.

Leg work: The steps in the Nordic running race are a progression of the steps that allow the walker to have contact with the ground, so that there are no apparent losses of contact (for the human eye)

Nordic Walking World Cup regulations on technique and other subjects will be used.

During the tour there will be judges to control the suitability of the technique.

10.- CLASSIFICATION AND AWARDS.

All classifications and prizes will be held for women and men.

10. PODIUM HOURS.

The prize will be awarded at the finish are at 18:00 hours.

Runners who fail to comply with this rule will be excluded from the test.

TAKE CARE OF THE ENVIRONMENT.

18.- APPROVAL OF THE REGULATION

All participants, by their participation, approve this regulation. The one that does not appear in it will be seen taking into account the regulations of the Nordic Walking World Cup.
